Naturally-reserved men: Hawks

Hawks are about consistency and structure.

In the Teska Type Systemâ„¢, men who are by nature reserved are known as Hawks. With their lower (for a man) baseline levels of oxytocin, they’re inherently more reserved than Bears. They like to socialize in smaller groups, with people who are familiar to them.

At work, the priorities of Hawks are structure, clarity, and consistency. They like to set things straight, and work independently or as the leader of a group. In romance, a Hawk wants a woman who complements him, a woman who’s on the quiet, private side: a gentle Dove.

There are two different types of Hawks.

With their high and similar baseline levels of testosterone, Hawks have two adjacent general talents, Fighting and Hunting:

Fighting Hawk Poised and protective More steadfast
Hunting Hawk Focused and goal-oriented More shrewd
