Bears are about creativity and camaraderie.

In the Teska Type Systemâ„¢, men who are by nature sociable are known as Bears. With their moderate (for a man) baseline levels of oxytocin, they’re inherently more sociable than Hawks. They like to socialize in larger groups, and typically like meeting new people.
At work, the priorities of Bears are creativity, freedom, and social interaction. They like to build, fix, and form things, and work as part of a team. In romance, a Bear wants a woman who’s like him in temperament, a woman who’s friendly and probably flirty: a lively Fox.
There are six different types of Bears.
With their high and varied baseline levels of testosterone, Bears span a wide range of general talents, from Fighting to Crafting:
| Fighting Bear | Energetic and decisive | Most assertive |
| Hunting Bear | Congenial and strong | Most adventurous |
| Dancing Bear | Charming and creative | Most nimble |
| Singing Bear | Smooth and balanced | Most polished |
| Painting Bear | Imaginative and observant | Most perceptive |
| Crafting Bear | Industrious and amiable | Most practical |
